Reading this, I almost feel as if I have been out of the loop a long time. Can anyone help with the meaning of CMS?
An interesting thing of note is that the previously hidden forums that were set up are now visible. I did have an "ex-insiders" knowledge of these, but was restrained from talking about them in public. Unfortunately, I have only been able to identify the Announcements and the Sticky's from these since everything is now jumbled.
In one of these a break down is given to the individual projects in several ways. It was sad to see the TSC project still not listed in any of these breakdowns.
There doesn't seem to be anyone around to put the time into rebuilding what we all worked so hard to do and I have no idea what the next steps will be. The thread still only has three entries. No one has posted since mrsugg, four days ago. I still receive PMs concerning these issues though I have not been able to reply to them since last June.

It seems to me that combining all of the forums into one has just made a complete mess that cannot be unravelled. Personally, I do not see the point.

They were talking about creating a new site specifically for TeamCC even before the forums were shut but, obviously, nothing has been done so far. Whether it will ever happen, I do not know, but I am not convinced that a separate site is the best approach anyway.
Personally, I never understood why the forums were closed (apart from some vague comment about a threat) but I think that it is significant that they have been locked all of this time and even now they haven't reopened as such. As you know, it takes a lot of time and effort to set up a new site and I think that you are right that there is no-one who has the time to do so. I also get the impression that there is no-one with a burning desire to do the job or something would have been done before now.
I suspect that Paul has just realised that the TeamCC is going downhill and that CC lost several enthusiastic and dedicated people who have moved on to set up their own (rival) communities. However, if he thinks that those people are going to return to CC just because he opens one forum and makes some vague promise about a dedicated site, I think that he is badly mistaken!

I received several PMs about the stats after the forums were closed but I very rarely log in these days so I don't know if there have been any recently. In fact, to be honest, I very rarely visit the CC forums at all now whereas I used to visit (literally) every day when the DC forums were active.
I suspect that they are going to need it!
