OK so all I need to do is swap a 165 for a 150 - sounded easy enough until I got to one of the bolts being seized and almost rounded. I guess it's time to take it to bike shop?? Crying or Very sad Any helpful hints as to how I go about getting the cranks off as well? Rolling Eyes

Stephanie, if you bring the bike to the track on Monday, I'm sure we can swap it over.

Thanks Georges, but it went from bad to ugly.... one chain ring bolt seized, chain ring needs to be dressed to fit Answer spider, BB in serious need of replacement. Went to Cap's Langley for crank puller - cool little tool! Had to grind off seized bolt and the replacement bolts were bottoming out as new spider & chain ring isn't the same thickness as old combo. So....back to Cap's went the bike & I. Hoping to get an estimate to fix and get everything back together before Thursday but..... stay tuned.

Georges, Got the bike back and they even "tweeked" it for him. Hopefully I'll have him back for practice on Monday so he can adjust to it. WOW the cranks really move now that the BB is new!See you @ the track, the boys say HI to Ethan.

I'm glad to hear you've got it all together. See you at the track.
