We are working on lots of things right now for this season and long range as well. We are trying to put together a $1000.00 Pro Open Race Shocked

for this summer to run with our KBMX Qualifier on the weekend of June 17-19, 2011. We will keep everybody posted through KBMX website and on here as well.

As a rider here in Ottawa, all I have to say is FINALLY! I started racing the as the summer was ending the year Ottawa switched to the ABA, so I never experienced what it was like at an OCA/CCA track. I read plenty of debates, but really, that's a dead horse that can finally be left alone.

I have been longing for some sort of unity at any level so that I could more easily race tracks other than the one here in Ottawa. I made one trip down to the states to race, but that was prior to gas prices really taking off and the requirement of needing passports, which neither my wife or I have, let alone our 2 year old.

So now I'm looking forward to a great summer of racing, not just here in Ottawa, but making the odd trip down to Kingston.

Now I understand my father's frustration when we raced motocross out in BC as a kid. You had the CMA, CMRC, and the AMA, if only all tracks got on board and pick ONE!

Here is an Update on our Friday June 17 - June 19 ABA Race

FRIDAY night race at 7pm single point
SATURDAYS RACE is a Provincial Double point.
WE HAVE A GUARANTEED PURSE FOR THE OPEN CLASS OF $1000.00
(you must do PRO section in open class).
WE ARE ALSO WORKING ON A PURSE FOR A CRUISER CLASS.
SUNDAY RACE FOR LIFE Double point race.

It's going to be an interesting year. How many of you guys are coming out to the Chilliwack National this May 2012?
