Side cutters
Zip ties
Metric and SAE allen key sets.
15mm socket or a full set.
Freewheel or casette ring removal tool.
BB tool for tightening/removing
Chain breaker.
Depending on what you have, a crank arm puller.
10mm box end wrench
Crescent wrench
Spoke wrench
Multi Screw driver
Pump (Cheap or expensive doesn't matter, just not a little hand pump)
LUBE!
You should be able to fix pretty much anything with the list above and should be able to put it together with a medium plastic box for under $100 _________________ Jeff Ingram

People are also always willing to help out.. Ask around at the track and see what everyone else is packin'.. When I fly to a race, I take a 5mm and 6mm allen key, a 15mm combo wrench, a #2 phillips, a chain breaker and some chain lube.. That's all I need for my bike, but every bike is different. You'll eventually gather everything as the season gets going.. Good luck! _________________ Leonard Kilgour |

| For sure, start with all the tools needed to fit your bikes. Then add other tools along the way as you get comfy with tinkering on your bikes more and more. |
