if you go with a cog (cassette), spend the money and get a good one like ringle, chis king etc.... there are a lot of low end crappy ones out there.. you'd be better off with a free wheel. on the other hand, i run a free wheel. it's made by 'White Industries" (available through CBS). They run about $90 or $100, but they are completely re-buildable.. this also makes your hubs cheaper when you buy a threaded hub. not to mention, you will never need another free wheel again, just re-build it when you replace your wheels...

ti spokes for little kids or mike since he weighs 130lbs.. haha, just kidding.. 150 right?

titanium flexes a lot.. now, if your wheels are tensioned properly i can't see it making a difference. but, you won't see too many bigger guys using them.. as a weight issue it's not that big a deal for a bigger rider to use chromo spokes since the difference isnt that great...
