You may, or may not, know that Tim was a frequenter of the writers forum My Writer's Circle. And while there, he spent a good deal of time in the bar, making friends and influencing people.
A group of the members have published a book of short stories, with all the proceeds going to the Buffalo Foundation, which helped take care of Tim during his last weeks.

Andrew, what a wonderful idea! Very thoughtful, too. I just told Hubby what to get me for Christmas. _________________ To plant a garden

It looks good - thanks for telling us about it. I notice that they also have a book of poetry called "Rogues of the Red Barren Bar" which is also for the benefit of the Buffalo Foundation. I may get both but I think that I will wait until after Christmas when the postal system is a little less stretched!

Just never rely on Canada Post. Even the Canadians joke about how bad they are. _________________ To plant a garden

So far... these two publications have raised a little over £160 for the Buffalo Hospice Foundation...
(that's about $250 ) |

I just noticed that this is also available as a download for about half the price of the actual book.
Thanks for the info Andrew _________________ If not us... then who?

You could use the coupon code SPRINGREAD to get 20% off. Very close to the download price, and you'd have a hard copy. _________________ To plant a garden
