We have a 2007 Geist LV 660. We have just discovered a 10cm crack in our base where the front side meets the bottom and small cracks around the drain hole. The whole thing is very flimsy and I wish to replace it with something more solid. The problem is the size as the new base has to fit the existing shower. The size is 740 deep, 700 wide and 100 high with the outlet in the RHS at the front.
Has anyone out there replaced theirs and if so what was your source? I have scoured plumber supplies, caravan parts people all to no avail.
Any assistancewill be very much appreciated. Many thanks, Jim |

I have looked at the problem of replacing the shower base along with some other parts on our Geist with interest. Especially now that part sources are drying up and the reluctance for some ex-dealers to help.
In regards to the shower base, I would remove the shower base and take it to a fibrglass repairer/moulder and ask can they use the damaged base to make a mould to glass up a new, stronger base?
I have talked to a fibreglass moulding/re[airer near our place and he has already done this for one owner.
I am in Hobart and the repairer in question is "Cambridge Caravans" Huntingfield.
