We are not new owners but have never introduced ourselves. Our names are Keith and Glenda Scott from Perth WA. In 2006 we owned an LV485 and travelled from Perth across Australia for 11 months before settling back into our new home in Yanchep WA. After only 6 months we realised that we loved the Gypsy life so picked up our XK660 in Queensland and have been up and down the coast here since April 2008. We are off to San Diego to visit family in March and when we return we are heading back to Perth for 6 months. We are retirees who love the life on the road with our beautiful caravan so plan to be doing this for a few years yet. Very Happy

Hi keithnglen,
Welcome to the forum. It really is great to hear of people enjoying their van to the full.
We are in SA on the eyre Peninsula, so if you are passing this way ion your travels let us know. We also have a 660 that is now over 2 years old and has been around the block - in my opinion it still looks like brand new.
By the way what do you tow with?
safe and happy travels
Geoff and Nancy

Hi keithnglen

Welcome to the forum.

With all the unfounded attacks on Geist that have happened on another forum, it is good to see that you like the van so much you bought another one. I wish I had the time to enjoy mine like you are going to do.

Are you members of the Geist Owners Club?

I am also in SA, like Geoff and Nancy, and open up the same invitation to call when passing through. We will make you very welcome.

Best regards and take care.
We look forward to meeting one day.

Thank you both we will certainly try to look you up when we pass through SA on our way back to Perth.

We would love to know which forum is attacking Geist.

We tow our van with a Ssangyong Kyron which we are very happy with and we are members of the Geist Owners Club.

Regards
Keith & Glenda

Hi Keith and Glenda

Good to hear you are pleased with your Geist. If you are staying in Adelaide why not let us all know on the forum and we could organise a happy hour for one of the nights. It is great to meet other owners and we had a great time at the recent BBQ.

Hope to catch up one day soon

Thank you for your kind invitations but we have had to do a fast trip across Australia from Tweed Heads to Perth as we have a function to attend to in Perth.

We arrived back from a month in California and had to hitch up the caravan and take off a few days later so going to need a week to get over all the travel. There was no time to stop and socialise which is a pity but we hope to maybe catch up when we return around August.

Regards
Glenda & Keith Very Happy
