Hi all,
I am new to your forum and can say that you guys clearly have a much better support mechanism in place than the UK !
I have an OZ spec XK630 with Truma blown air, air con, omnistor (with residence room). I spend most times on rallies so I run a 50w solar panel, LED lighting and refillable plastic gas cylinders. It's a superb 'van, after a Hobby and Knaus this is my 4rd german 'van and the build is much better than the British 'vans.
My XK tows very well behind my Audi A8 3.0 TDi Quattro and I see 25mpg at 60mph so I am happy !
I hope to have a good chat with you guys...I can see from some of your pics you guys have some good additions, I am just working out if I can persuade wifey to make us one of the front window canopy/blinds !!!! |

Hi, and welcome to the forum.
I have had our LV485 since 2006, covered approx. 30,000km's with it and think it is the best thing since sliced bread.
We have had no major issues with the van, other than a faulty water pressure valve.
The Truma heating is the envy of Australian van owners.
Tows like a dream behind both our Falcon XR6Turbo or the MB ML270.
Parts are becoming an issue over here, but as I haven't needed any (touch wood) I am not too concerned.
