PR: ABA Will Provide Free Live-Streaming Coverage
of the ABA "Blackjack Nationals" from Reno , Nevada
Gilbert, Arizona —
The ABA (American Bicycle Association) will provide
free live-streaming coverage of the twenty-second
national event on its 2006 BMX (Bicycle Motocross )
racing series.
The ABA has previously provided an audio feed of its national events
for fans and racers to get real-time coverage of its national BMX races.
Adding this streaming-video coverage is a first and unprecedented for
the sport!
The ABA "Blackjack Nationals" is one of the premier events on
the national-race schedule and it is one of the fifteen PRO Series
events in 2006. "BMX is such a visual and exciting sport that
streaming video was a natural next step for our event coverage."
says Clayton John, ABA President.
All of the excitement, color and action will come to life on the web when
this BMX event is covered live from Reno , Nevada. The event is being
held at an indoor dirt Bicycle motocross track that the ABA will construct
exclusively for this national-level race.
Held at the Reno Livestock Events Center September 1st-3rd 2006,
it will include racers from 5 to 50 years old, male and female along
with the exciting PRO`s!
The live-streaming video feed will be produced by BMX TV Direct,
experts in BMX race coverage. The production team will cover
both the Saturday and Sunday events. The three-camera shoot
will be mixed and edited as the action happens. The BMX TV
Direct production staff already films all of the ABA National events
and provides streaming video and DVD`s at its website.
"This is another first for BMX as ABA has realized the potential that
streaming video can provide to its members and the fans of BMX
racing. We are very excited to be part of this free coverage,
because live video of the nationals allows everyone to attend
via their computer!", said Tim Lillethorup President/Producer.
Coverage will be shown live each day at www.ababmx.com
Saturday September 2, 2006
Sunday September 3rd, 2006.
The free, live action will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday
