BMXtalk ( Shawn Thurber ) -- 11/13/2007
Hello everyone in the bmxtalk arena, I am Shawn Thurber and
I am here to invite you to Emerald Valley Indoor. We opened this
past weekend and had a great turn out.

On Saturday, our inauagural race, we had 104 riders, 25 motos. Sunday,
we had just a bit less, with 93 riders and 23 motos. We would love to see
more riders coming from around the northwest.

The track is longer and more technical than in previous years. I think
anyone who comes to race this track will leave feeling like they have
had a great racing experience.

On a personal note, my son Trey is back into racing and I myself
am buying a cruiser so that I might start competing next season.

Also, my daughter and her husband "THE REIMERS" yes that would
be Matt Reimer, will be racing soon as well. When he returns from
Korea, he plans on coming back to bmx. So, look forward to more
news on that front.

I hope to see riders from all over the
northwest coming and racing with us at EVI.

Shawn Thurber

Nothing on there web site, as of this post;
so Nothing to report I guess. LOL

Must not have been to hot of a BMX race as nothing
said. Don`t for get, not many people in the NW talk
on the web much any more so seeing a report from
a BMX event in the NW would be to surprising to see.

See, that is what is wrong with BMX racing on the web.
A lot of the web sites will tell you of BMX events but a
big mass of them will Not show you the results, news,
photos, videos, extra. after the events.

Some of them will go and do splash reports on forums
and news letters extra. but you don`t see to many report
on the BMX web sites after the events. So a lot of people
get lost fast in BMX racing.

Maybe that is one of the reasons that BMX racing is stuck
in a hole and not going anywhere. BUT Like the Luke report
says,: Why don`t you give up BMX racing and get in to BMX
freestyle. Seems things get done in the BMX freestyle dept.
