Dear Governor Schwarzenegger,
President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports,
California Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports,
Simi Valley City Council Members,
Simi Valley Board of Directors,
Simi Valley Community Residents,
and all BMX Racing Enthusiasts-
Please HELP SAVE SYCAMORE BMX!
Keeping Kids Clean in the Dirt for 25 years.
Are you ready to see BMX racing, a sport of youthful achievement,
healthy lifestyle and the American family erased from Simi Valley?
Only to be replaced by more low cost housing?
Do you want to lose Sycamore BMX? A nationally recognized bicycle
motocross race track known to be a building block for some of the
BEST riders in the nation? I hope not.
In 2008, the sport of BMX will be seen Worldwide in the Olympic Games.
Wouldn't it be wonderful to see BMX riders who trained at Sycamore BMX
in Simi Valley, California, (home to the Ronald Reagan Presidential
Library), representing the United States?
Sycamore BMX is a NON profit run by Anthony and Joan Nigro.
They have given 10 + years of service to our community. They
are loved and respected by everyone who has ever been a part
of Sycamore BMX.
We urge your assistance in making our voices heard on this matter.
Saving our track, or at least relocating the track to another part of
Simi Valley as an alternative.
Please help Sycamore BMX to continue providing our children,
youth and families with the opportunity to be physically active
in fun and engaging ways.
In BMX racing, no one sits on the bench!
