*** Tony Hawks BMX Bikes Are Launched ***

Gene`s BMX News -- 04/30/2008
The official launch was on 04/28/2008

Tony Hawk Has Now Launched A New
BMX Bicycle Line. You Can Now Check
Out All Of Tony Hawks BMX Bikes At:

Tony Hawk Bicycles has 2, two bicycle lines.
1 - Mass Market
2 - IBD Independent Bicycle Dealership
So, somewhat like how we see Pacifc Cycle/Schwinn
doing there bikes. `a mass market and a IBD line'.

People bitch all the time that the sport of BMX needs
to be bigger and heck it looks like that Tony Hawk
is somewhat helping making it bigger by having a
bmx bike line. It is funny looking that it takes a
skateboarder to get the ball rolling a bit in the BMX
but it does help make the sport of BMX get bigger.

Some of them bikes may be cheap looking and
some of them bikes maybe high priced looking.
But no matter what it seems in BMX people will
still bitch for someone stepping up and trying to
do something good for BMX. Thats what sucks...

At least people do not have to pay money to look
at the Tony Hawk web site to see what the BMX
bikes look like. Un-like some of the BMX web sites
out there that say they support BMX but then ask
for money to look at the BMX contents.... My guess
is Tony Hawk BMX bikes will sale big time in both
Mass and IBD and in Used. It is cool to see a skate
boarder support BMX by having a BMX bike line.

Maybe it can also help to help get BMX in to skate
parks? There still is a lot of skate parks out there
that do not let BMX bikes in. Any help is better than
no help at all. Just a thought on that one.......
