What do you guys use to make fliers? I just snag a google image and ravage it with MS paint like a noob.
Is there any applications that are useful? What do you guys use/do?

I use a few photo editing programs, draw in GIMP (shit's free, get on it), adobe elements and some photoshop (because I'm poor and don't understand how torrents work to get better programs). My roommate Dan who actually has an education in things of that matter, uses photoshop, indesign, and adobe illustrator CS5. Indesign for fliers - illustrator if you include more graphics, and is generally good for page layouts. If you want to talk to someone for help, hit up Dan Herrle.

David Holm, as Kenny said, is pretty boss and professional.

I've been using Paint Shop Pro for years to edit and draw. I can probably loan you out our copy if you're interested and I can find it.

Powerpoint for text-based flyers. Photoshop for everything else. I've seen pretty good results from thy David Holm program so you might want to try using that.
