I am using a wysiwyg to add data to the database but when it saves on my server all my appostrophes are replaced with /' so instead of seeing frog's i see frog/'s.

Any ideas why i cant save into the database exactly what is entered into the wysiwyg. Is it to do with the columns type in my db. Currently im using mysql and LONGTEXT.

hi ... which version are you using?

this is regarding to mysql_real_espace or magic_quotes ...
otherwhise somebody could add malicious code and execute it.

Tell us simply which version and we'll have a look at it.
