Alex what are your thoughts. I think we arrived at the rental place about 9ish but had to wait for them to get a load ready so we did not take off until 10ish. Is that a normal thing?
also will we need to call ahead? It seemed like they had 100 + rentals there. _________________ -Ali

Game plan looks like this
Friday - Check in, ride (time permitting)
Friday eve. - Socialize
Sat - Paddle Alafia River, leave camp about 9-9:30, head for outpost, this should get us on the water by 10- 10:30. (We don't want to start too late or we are at greater risk of the afternoon showers and storms.)
Sun Morn - Group Ride - Trail Head 8 am
Sun 1:00 Check out
Still sites available at ReserveAmerica.com. Everybody is welcome, gonna be a great weekend! |

Those that want to squeeze in more trail time can ride Friday, Sat before the paddle, Sat. after the paddle (not me) and Sunday Morning, thats the beutiful thing about camping next to trails. |

I think 9-930 may be a better ride time for Sunday. 8 is awful early. _________________ 29" ftw |

4 real postman? Sleepy Head? It's like 100 degrees by 10am , and those of us camping will still need time to clean up, eat and pack down camp. Just my 2 cents, I'm up for what ever works for most peeps. |

Sleepy Head? Being there by 8 means getting out of bed around 5-530. _________________ 29" ftw |

Awesome time for sure!! We had 11 people for the kayak trip and 13 on the bike ride. The tree jumping and rope swinging on the river was too much fun. Thanks to all who came out! Was the ride today extra steamy or what ? _________________ "By helping out, you are saying thanks to all those who make your trails great!" |

Very Steamy! Africa Hot!- Toss up as to what tasted better- Ice Cold Watermelon after the ride or the Ice Cold Beer when I hit the house!
Thanks to all who participated- I'll try and make the whole trip next time. |

Newbies are always welcome. It's good to see new faces and more people getting into the sport. I had fun on Sunday but too bad I didn't make the canoe trip...it sounds like you guys had fun. _________________ If you have the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed. |
