|
|
I was riding on Modello last night (Fri.6/10/11), and I just passed the stacked deck wood going along the waterway and I ran into a camo colored rope stretched between two trees, intentionally put there to hurt someone. I did not see it, and luckily, it hit just under my handlebars instead of me. I was going a good pace and when I hit it, the line stretched and launched me like a slingshot backward. It was just before the two climbs and the clay road. If a smaller bike, or a kid was going thru there, it would have hit their body. There was a used baby diaper right there also, probably belonged to the scumbag who put the line up. I was albe to cut the line from one of the trees, and it's stilled tied to the other. Be careful out there!

| There are some sick people out there. If anyone finds another one of these, you might want to take a good look around to see if they are watching or if they have a camera set up. It seems like they would want to see the results of their twisted actions. I sure hope this was an isolated incident. |
