Well, after getting back into riding for around 2-3 months now, I have lost 50lbs, I have hit most of the local trails. And while the Karate Monkey has been a great companion on this journey back to health, the time has come to start nudging back into more familiar territory.

So, here is the scoop. 2004 Surly Karate Monkey in Medium. Two forks, a '04 Marzocchi Bomber MX Comp (for 29er) and the Surly Cromoly rigid fork. Chris King Headset, Race Face system stem, Misfit Psycles Fu-bar, Cane Creek lock on grips, Avid Speed 9 brake levers, brand spanking new Avid BB-7 brakes with 8" rotors. Race Face Carbon LP crankset (lots of paint wear), Thomson seatpost, Specialized Toupe' Ti saddle, WTB Dual Duty rims on Surly hubs. Single Speed, generic platform pedals.

The bike was originally Camp Stove green, but the paint was wearing thin in spots and the decals were half gone. I repainted it with very good satin black paint, and I have a whole new set of decals and Surly headbadge for it.

Here is a picture, this was taken after painting, but before I put the new brakes on, and I removed my Brooks seat and replaced it with the Specialized mentioned above.

And just so you know, I have replaced it with a Specialized FSR.

I would like to get $600.00

Would you be interested in selling just the frame/rigid fork/head set?

I might, send me a PM with what you are thinking. I really just need to offset the price of my FSR, I am sure other stuff can be put on ebay.
