I know some of you got some crazy bikes. As a matter of fact, everybody I ride with has crazy nice bikes.

I would like to show off my new ride. Most of you know, I have been working hard to get back into riding shape. I used to own an Ellsworth Isis, which was a single pivot 4" travel frame. It was a nice bike, but when I stopped riding I sold it on ebay.

I bought a Karate Monkey to get started and that was nice. But I now have the best bike I have ever owned! I picked up this lowly FSR XC at a pawn shop in Orlando for $450.00. I put my Brooks seat on it, I got a set of Hayes nine brakes and a Big Hit handlebar from my friend who broke the frame on his Demo 9, and another friend hooked me up with a barely used Rock Shox Reba Team dual air. I think I got it all dialed in, and this baby rides better than anything I have ever had.

This is my first Specialized, and so far I am sold.

Here are some Pics!

Oh, and try not to make fun of the pink stuff... pink is my favorite color, my wife and daughter already make plenty of fun of me... Future plans are King pink headset, and a Pink seat clamp. I kind of like the Pink/grey color combo.

Yeah, I had never been a Brooks rider before. Back when I used to ride I used an Azonic Loveseat. But I kept reading good things about Brooks, so I picked up a B-17 standard. I LOVE IT! by far the most comfortable seat I have ever owned. Since I am still pretty much a fat**s, it is breaking in VERY fast. I have ridden probably 100 miles or so on it, and I can already see indentation from my sit bones starting.

I'm kind of partial to those pink pedals.
