Not sure who is responsible or if the roots are actually gone, but someone has really "simplified" the 2nd finger. Looks as though a lot of work was done, whether cutting the root (climb before the drop and after the turnaround at the end of the finger) or adding dirt. If it's just adding dirt, fine, it will wash away eventually. I did not stop to do a full on investigation.

Red trails are suppose to be challenging- I realize this has been going on and will continue, the nature of a public park. Please think before you cut-

Sorry if I made it to easy, I didn't cut any roots I just covered them to protect them and to turn the water off the trail and after the turn it was the same thing, just trying to keep the rain water from running straight down the middle of the trail. If you like it more challanging try going faster, hehe just kidding, I also raked all the leaves off the fingers and filled in the dirt around the blocks on the climb. Not trying to make it to easy just trying to keep it from eroding. I thought that was what we were supposed to do on trail work days. I also went back on monday night to clear the drain ditches on the exit trail near the beast and the moe, So you might have to go off the trail there to get your bike all muddy, sorry again.

It was a great trail work day, Mark. Great to see so many people show up. Really appreciate the improvements and hard work your group did on the fingers.

Ride On!

Thanks Mark SS for working to prevent erosion and not cutting the roots on the red trails
