if people want to celebrate our victory thats up to them. aint exactly gloating is it. now as for fookin gloating yer only need to see the self anal smugness of any of the aussie captains, for the last decade.

How is a month long party and MBE's allround Not Gloating...

and as for the smugness of Aussie captains ....... it would be about 10% of your smugness if the results of the last 18 years between our 2 nations in the last 18 years were reversed.

Not a good tour for the Pakis, is it?...lose to Ireland, coach dies....bloody hell! Shocked

Heard Dhoni (the Indian) got his house detsroyed by an angry mob following their loss to the Bangers.

Poms struggled a bit against Canada....couldn't bowl them out, but were missing Flintoff due to suspension (he was out on the piss Friday night).

Aussies made it easy against the Dutch....next is the crunch game against the South Africans......1.v.2 in the world, to determine who will top the group.

Yeah, Dhoni got his house smashed up..... Shocked

Same thing happened last WC (but to other players)...and it gave them a kick up the a**e, and they got to the final

Maybe the same will happen again...doubt it though. Means India need to smash Bermuda (to get a bonus point), and beat Sri lanka. (and even then have to hope Bangladesh dont get any bonus points.etc)

From Sky Sports

quote:
Andrew Flintoff has backed the England management's decision to discipline him for his late-night drinking antics and spoken of his shame and embarrassment.

The all-rounder was stripped of the vice-captaincy and dropped from the side that beat Canada on Sunday after breaking a team curfew along with five of his team-mates after the defeat to New Zealand on Friday.

He was reportedly pulled from a pedalo in the sea off St Lucia at 4am on Saturday morning after a night spent in local bars.

Flintoff told Sky Sports News: "It is something I am not proud of and something that shouldn't have happened. I have suffered the consequences, I have missed a game of cricket for England over the weekend.

"I have missed games in the past through injury but being left out for these reasons is obviously something I'm upset about and something I never, ever want to repeat again. So hopefully I can learn from this and I can take something out of them going forward."

Flintoff also vowed that there would be no repeat of Friday's events.

"Events like these are never going to happen again and hopefully I can get back down to playing cricket. I have had the support of the team and the support of the management and family and friends back home, which I really appreciate because in some ways obviously I feel I have let them down.

"The management and the coach have taken action that they feel is appropriate. I think that is something I accept and something I have to live with."

When asked how he felt on being told that he was going to be dropped, Flinoff admitted: "I have missed games through injury but to miss games through things like these is something I have never experienced before and something I never want to experience again... all different sorts of emotion, mainly upset, embarrassment and shame at what I did.

"I respect the coaches and the management decision and I apologise to the coach and the captain and publicy apologise to everybody else as well."

England coach Duncan Fletcher added: "It has been a very, very difficult time. Some really tough decisions had to be made but hopefully the right decisions have been made and it has the effect that you want it to do and that we can get on with it from tomorrow when we pitch up.

"We had an off day today and from tomorrow we can get out there and really prepare for a tough match against Kenya.

"Hopefully Andrew will realize now that he must get on and just think about this World Cup and the important part he can play in it for us. He has always been an important cricketer for us and I believe he will be an important player for us for some time to come."

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This guy is a totally unprofessional w****r and a terrible role model.
Maybe if he took his career a little more seriously instead of treating each tour as a f*****g holiday, the England cricket team might win a bit more often.

It's India, they can drink (its a Hindu country. not muslim)

If anything they've prob had a drink to many and went on the rampage.

Last WC lots of players got their houses trashed.....India ended up in the final....
