Looking for an old mate from around the Norwich area whooped to Australia in the late 70's. don't know the district but he goes under the name of rockin Tom I believe. If anyone can help I would apreciate it. You can also contact me on the forum of great British teddyboy site . Thank you.

Enjoyed great live music and made good rocking friends there in the late 70s and early 80s.

mmmmm Jive Lessons

Still beats me why no one can do it the old way, learning themselves?

There were no lessons in the 50's or the 60's unless you wanted to do BALLROOM dancing!

Watching others and the bedroom door handle were the partners of so many people, so why not teach yourself?

It may take a while but the end result is and will be your own style!

Freestyle is so much better to watch than the boring set moves that modern lessons seem to teach!

Yep a really really nice guy.

Had the pleasure of seeing him and havin a little chat not to long before he passed.

Very down to earth and even a little scathing of his own abilities, BUT he was there and he did it!

A good example to any artist, the good, and the pitfalls of the music industry?

Got a piccie somewhere of me n him, will try to put it up some time?
